The Why???

The question why arises quite often in life and sometimes we have an answer and sometimes not. I often ask myself why am I a wedding photographer and the answer is always the same. Because this is God's perfect will for my life.

The ability to capture a moment in time isn't given, it's granted! From my very first wedding until now; I have never shot a wedding without praying and asking God to let me see His will for this couple's day. I shoot what I see and it's never through my eyes. Sometimes the vision is clear and sometimes it doesn't make any sense at all, but every single time I'm given a task, I perform it as if working for Him and not for the actual client and it never fails...that moment that I was so confused about was never about my knowledge, but about theirs.

It could have been a curl that was so perfect that the bride commented; how did you know I kept staring at that one curl to the tissue that G-G ma gave them and I had no idea; all the way to a gaze looked into a specific place that a praying father or mother partook in. It never is me. It's always Him.

Once again, the honored was bestowed upon me to shoot Clarissa + Cristian's wedding and again God showed up and showed out. No matter what the enemy tried to throw their way; the arch angels were there prepared for war. Nothing was going to stop not just this union; but this Holy Matrimony. And yes; there is a huge difference. From the earliest days of the Christian faith, Christians have honored marriage which is our holy matrimony, as a divinely blessed, lifelong, monogamous union, between a man and a woman. It is holy because it's pure, it's holy because it's faithful and most importantly it's holy because God ordained it, and lastly it it Holy because God called it Holy. Weddings are my jam!!!!
