Elopement sessions are about love and romance and the chemistry between the newly married couple. It’s only natural that with love comes PDA. That’s right, folks: public displays of affection.
Don’t worry, I don’t mean I’m going to have you completely grope each other during your session – those aren’t pictures grandma wants to hang on her fridge. During your session, I will ask you to hold hands, hug, cuddle, and even kiss! This is part of my normal workflow for engagement & wedding sessions. I just wanted to give you a heads up before your session so you know what to expect and have time to practice if you’re currently not OK with PDA. But dont' worry, I love to use prompts to secure those true raw emotions and not make you do super weird things. It's all about coming back to that specific photo and remembering what I asked you to do and the emotions that came from them.
I had the pleasure of capturing Leilani and Jeffrey's elopement and it was so magical. Leilani is one of the most calmest and chill brides ever. We loved being able to serve her on her special day and meet the most amazing and supportive family ever. I love when the L-rd just shows up and creates such a fun and eventful day.
