Going Down The Bayou
Never and I do mean, ever...tell me that you didn't get good wedding pictures!!! If you do, be prepared for an adventure of a lifetime. That's exactly what Mari did and we showed up and showed out! Let's just call this an elopement, vow renewal because she never had a 'real' wedding with 'real' wedding pictures so we gave her some.
Although you can NEVER replace your actual day no matter how hard you try, what you can do is create new and fonder memories to not erase but add to what you've already been through. You can add memories about what you envisioned and how session made your dreams come true. I mean, I get it...weddings are super expensive and sometimes we just don't have it, but we have love and that's supposed to conquer all. There are people who want to start their marriage debt free and going to the courthouse or their backyard is just as cool and fun (actually backyard or elopements are our specialty) and more intimate.
Sharing this moment with one of my best friends will always be in my heart and the times that we spent together making this day come true will be the best days of my life! Happy Anniversary to Mari & Aj! By the way, I've never seen anything Lousiana related until this shoot. The food was amazing (even though I didn't have any & the cake was absolutely gorgeous)
